1.Welcome/introductions
2.Race Night ; Scott presented details and circulated leaflets outlining the Leigh & District Branch’s Race
Night on Friday 16 November in aid of the Development Fund. Tameside branch have kindly offered to provide transport.
All to consider and let Scott know asap via email.
3.Tameside transport offer group decided unanimously to take up the offer
Rob to approach Keg at the Tameside Branch and inform him of the Stockport decision.
4.Supporters Network ; Stockport Branch Quiz Night to be held at Conors Bar on Thursday 29 November. Will include player
and manager attendance; trophies; live music; a live link-up with an international branch; beer promotion and Irish hot-pot
supper.
Rob to send copy to Lisa who will design posters for distribution to all as PDF..
5.Junior football teams initiative – Scott explained concept hes been working on whereby children from local
school could be given tickets for FC United and invited to a training session. Scott mentioned that hes already established
a similar venture with group of children from Bolton. A lengthy debate took place concerning possible conflict with Stockport
County (another fans’-owned club) who have a similar scheme in operation.
Scott to progress idea. Swampy to speak to officials from Stockport County FC.
6.Events and Publicising we agreed we all would stick posters up in various locations advertising the Stockport SN Branch
and its activities.
Rob to prepare generic copy explaining who we are etc and where we meet, and forward to Lisa and Scott for design work.
7.New website Mick introduced new Stockport Branch website and appealed for copy to put on it. Mentioned that it had
received hundreds of hits since its inception.
8.Stockport Branch also now has two mobile telephone contact numbers for use on posters etc. They are: 07849960016 and

9.A)AOB Dave mentioned idea of appealing to latent MUFC fans, i.e. those who gave up going some time ago.

and others etc.
